Melbourne-based Nifty-Lift is an established elevated work platform design and manufacturing company, which has developed a complete range of ute and truck-mounted EWPs (elevated work platforms), as well as several self-propelled models. While predominately servicing the Australian energy, mining and rail industries, Nifty-Lift’s innovative products have also been sold into the USA, South Africa, Hong Kong, New Zealand, Fiji and Indonesia.
Nifty-Lift has been working with Victor on some of its larger models – between 16m and 26m – for over two years, says general manager – operations, Kevin Power. “In that time, we have been impressed with their superior manufacturing techniques and competitive pricing,” says Kevin. “While we do operate dual suppliers to share the risk, we are relying on Victor more and more for customised applications and new designs.
“With over 20 different models, we have a lot of research and development going on, so the design side of Victor adds a lot of value to the process. They are really ahead of the other suppliers because they can offer 3D analytical modelling.
“Also, their project management and after-sales service has been great – they go over and above to get the job done.”
